Halloween creations

So, it has been a while since my last post. I have been busy planning my wedding and my little girl's birthday party. Now I have some spare time to do things I actually like, such as crocheting of course. My favorite holiday is coming up, Halloween! If you know me then you know my favorite all time movie is Nightmare before Christmas. I love dressing up. It is so much fun! I have a little one now so I have the pleasure of dressing her up as well.

This year it is all about Minnie Mouse so that is what Emma is going as. Zack wanted to join in the fun so he decided he wanted to be Goofy. He asked me to try and come up with a Goofy hat so I sat down and made something that resembles Goofy's hat with ears.

I also made a cute little Halloween beanie with a bat hair clip (pattern found here

As requested

I received a request to design a cupcake hairclip. It took me a couple tries, but here is the end result. I love that someone asked me to do this. I've been wanting to make a cupcake design, but never had the motivation to do it. It looks so cute in Emma's hair. I might let her wear it all day.

It's Elmo!

I haven't been crocheting for a while. We have been busy with birthday parties and just enjoying being outside. Well today the temperatures are in the triple digits so Emma and I are enjoying the cool A/C. Emma has been watching Seseame Street all morning which inspired me to crochet an Elmo hair clip.

Please leave a comment about anything I have so far. I would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

A Hot Summer Day

Today started out kind of slow. I woke up and immediately started crocheting (after my cup of coffee of course.) What I came up with was a goldfish hair tie. I looked at a couple patterns, but couldn't find one I liked so this is what I came up with.

Later in the day, we decided to walk to the park.

My mom bought Emma some cute clothes the other day from my favorite thrift store, The Arc. The shorts she bought were so big that they fell right off of her. I don't have any belts for Emma so guess what, I made one!

It was very quick and simple because Emma was practically out the door. She loves going to the park to see the ducks.

Here are a few pictures of our walk in the park.

Father's Day

Yesterday was Father's Day. I just want to say happy Father's Day the greatest daddy in the world, my (soon to be husband) Zack.

I wanted Emma to look extra special for Father's Day. Usually, she just goes around in a t-shirt and diaper, but for holidays I love dressing her up lol. Well, today I put her in a pretty little dress with white and yellow Daisy's on it. I didn't have any hair clips that matched the dress so I decided to make one. Here is what I came up with.

Hi and welcome to my blog.

I wanted to create a place where I can share my crochet creation with those who appreciate the craft. I started making hair accessories for my daughter, Emma. I was tired of using the some old plain hair bows so I decided to make something different.

I love crochet anything! You name it and I'll wear it. Here are a few hair clips I made for Emma just to get started. Isn't she adorable lol.
